About
Information Security Lead in a Fintech, called Etranzact International PLC. He has previously worked as a Cybersecurity Consultant with an Artificial Intelligence Software-based firm called Aigent in New York, and also worked as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer in two other cybersecurity firms.
Nelson is passionate about Teaching, Cybersecurity Research, Mentoring, and Career Growth. He has Specialty in SOC Management, Vulnerability Assessment/Penetration Testing, Database Security, Application Security, Cybersecurity Standards, Threat Hunting, Incident Response, Enterprise Security Tools, and Security Awareness Training.
What mentoring means to me
- I am passionate about cybersecurity. I believe that cybersecurity is one of the most important challenges of our time, and I want to do my part to help protect people and organizations from cyber threats.
- I enjoy helping others learn and grow. I believe that everyone has the potential to be great in cybersecurity, and I love being a part of their journey. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with others and helping them to develop the skills they need to succeed.
- I learned a lot from my mentees. Mentoring is a two-way street. I learned a lot from my mentees as well. They bring new perspectives and ideas to the table, and they challenge me to think in new ways.
