What mentoring means to me
- Helping. I was inspired by Noureen during one of the webinars on how she approaches mentoring as a journey to help others. I love knowing that I can be helpful. I encourage everyone to mentor because we all have a diverse set of skills that can be useful to someone else.
- Teaching. I have a wealth of knowledge and enjoy sharingwha
t I’ve learned and my best tips, tricks, and resources. As Noureen pointed out, when we teach others, we not only benefit the recipient, we also keep our knowledge base sharp. - Encouragement. This is a unique and crazy time and we have a wonderful opportunity to be a source of encouragement and positivity by supporting each other with an open heart and open mind.
