About
Chheang is a Partner Security Architect (PSA) in Cisco IT, handling Application Security Compliance and 3rd Party Risk to drive secure business practices in Facilities and Physical Security. He started off as a Software Engineer at Cisco building web applications, and then transitioned into Cybersecurity to fulfill the gap of his team’s security compliance tracks mandated by Cisco InfoSec. He is currently a Blue Belt in Cisco’s internal Security Ninja program, and continuing his education by attending University of Washington Bothell for Cybersecurity Engineering in Autumn 2020. Chheang is also an advocate for Cisco’s cultural values as a pillar leader in Cisco’s employee resource group Connected Asian Affinity Network (CAAN), and as a mentor in various initiatives. Examples of people/programs he has mentored are interns, underserved high school students, and new PSAs.
